WHY TERRELL?
Charles Henry Terrell Academy is an independent private day school devoted to serving the educational needs of beautiful, bright and vibrant students with learning differences such as executive function difficulties and attention issues. Our program is designed for students who process information differently that are expected in a conventional classroom. C.H. Terrell Academy is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission, Inc. (GAC).
Education signifies more than the acquisition of information. It involves achieving a personal balance of mind and spirit. Throughout the sometimes challenging, yet always rewarding process, education fosters self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-direction, while emphasizing mutual goals that benefit the greater community.
With this vision shared among faculty, administration, parents, and students, we work in concert to achieve scholastic, behavioral and individual skills and standards. In a Christian atmosphere of respect, compassion and cooperation, we enable students to integrate thought and ethics into life as it transpires at C.H.T.A. as well as beyond its campus.
We look forward to joining you on the journey.
