Education requires considerable resources. Tuition alone does not cover our operating expenses each year. Our annual budget is financed through tuition and philanthropic support. Tax-deductible gifts to the C.H.T.A. Fund are the single most important source of non-tuition income for the Academy. This fund directly funds the school’s current operating budget.
WHY IS THE FUND IMPORTANT?
The Fund is the major giving program, connecting the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. Currency from this fund supports the school’s operating budget where the needs are greatest and can also help the Academy quickly to unforeseen circumstances.
WHY NOT JUST INCREASE TUITION?
Increasing tuition would result in the loss of students whose families could not afford the increase. A decrease in enrollment would lead to cuts in both educational programs and staff. The Academy encourages parents to make tax-deductible gifts to keep tuition affordable while maintaining an outstanding quality of education for every child in our educational village.
I CAN'T AFFORD MUCH. DO SMALL GIFTS FROM PARENTS REALLY MAKES AN IMPACT?
YES! Every gift makes a difference. Small gifts impact and inspire larger gifts. Every contribution, no matter how small, counts. You have until the last day of school to make a payment.
