Distinctive Academic Academy serves students that are qualified with an Individualized Educational Program (IEP).

THE CHARLES HENRY TERRELL DISTINCTION

C.H.T.A.’s central goal is to provide a quality education for our pupils who learn differently. We have created our curriculum to assist the needs of our students. Our instructors are trained, along with educating self management acquirements to students with A.D.H.D. and A.D.D. With a safe and positive learning environment, C.H.T.A.’s faculty ensures an educational sphere that enforces positive reinforcement and creates individualized goals for every student. We are a Georgia Special needs school mandated by the state of Georgia. Students must be IEP qualified to receive scholarships! Orton Gillingham Approach—Is a carefully sequences, systematic, multisensory and diagnostic instructional process that builds upon intensive practice of the sound, symbol and system of language.
