To the sponsors and friends of JAMP!, "YOU ARE SUPERBAD"!!! We are more than thankful. We can truly say, "We Feel Good". The youth spirit is PURE DYNAMITE! Special thanks to Maestro Scott Richardson who taught the Jampers and the Jamp Masters. The pupils have learned music theory, a secondary instrument, and history on The Godfather of Soul as well as some of his classic songs. Good clean music and discipline were huge factors in the curriculum for JAMP! Respect for fellow Jampers, Jamper staff, and self respect was a must. Each pupil will leave JAMP! having learned some fundamentals of music that they did not have prior to JAMP! My prayer and my desire is to spark an interest in the pupils to learn music. We accomplished this for many of the pupils. Some pupils learned an instrument for the first time. We must do better for our children in the entertainment arena for music. JAMP! is a start! We encourage parents who have musically inclined students to allow your child the opportunity to explore their talents. If your child has not exemplified an interest in music, explore the possibility. You might be surprised. God Bless all who participated with JAMP!
